Social media giant facebook अब smart watch बनाने पर काम कर रहा है, जिसे वो अगले साल तक market में लाने वाला है। Facebook एक android based smart watch बनाने पर काम कर रहा है, हालांकि अभी तक ये पता नहीं चला पाया है, कि facebook खुद का O.S यानी operating system बनाएगी, या गूगल का Wear O.S. इस्तेमाल करेगी।
ये स्मार्ट watch हेल्थ और फिटनेस फीचर के साथ आएगी। इस स्मार्ट watch से यूजर सीधे मेसेज कर सकते है, और ये feature इससे पहले किसी कंपनी ने अपने स्मार्ट watch में नहीं डाला था। रिपोर्ट्स कि माने तो facebook इस स्मार्ट watch को अगले साल से बेचना start कर सकता है।
फेसबुक ने हमेशा अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वियों में गहरी दिलचस्पी ली है। फेसबुक ने व्हाट्सएप, इंस्टाग्राम और यहां तक कि ओकुलस को भी अपने हाथों में ले लिया है, क्योंकि ये ऐप युवा दर्शकों के बीच तेजी से लोकप्रिय हो रहे हैं।
हलाकि ये पहली बार नहीं है जब facebook हार्डवेयर बना रहा हो, इससे पहले कंपनी ने Oculus Virtual reality headsets और Portal video chat devices बनाये हुए है, पर ये पहली बार होगा जब फेसबुक smart watch पे काम कर रहा हो।
